Guangzhou Xiwan Gymnasium, a comprehensive sports venue, was opened on December 11 in Liwan District. The venue provides multiple sports facilities, including badminton courts, basketball courts, table tennis rooms, and other support training facilities.

Guangzhou Xiwan Gymnasium covers an area of 17,500 square meters, and has introduced professional sports equipment. The venue has five floors. Three floors are above the ground, and two floors are the underground parking lot.

According to Guangzhou Xiwan Gymnasium, the first floor of the venue will introduce sports projects and industries, providing neighboring residents with sports resources and fitness-supporting services.

The second floor is an open area that is capable of holding professional sports events. It is equipped with ten standard badminton courts, which can be converted into two standard basketball courts. 

In addition, the venue has three table tennis rooms and offers a wide range of sports trainings, including Taekwondo and Ballroom Dancing. The venue invites sports training institutions to provide sports training services for children. Shower cubicles, changing rooms, lockers, and other supporting facilities are available. 

There are 317 underground parking spots, with three barrier-free parking spots for disabled groups. The Guangzhou Xiwan Gymnasium is also equipped 88 slow-charging piles for new energy vehicle owners.
